Paid Vacation
Recently (say, three days ago), I was informed by my store manager, my boss, to be formal, that I have acquired some paid vacation time. Seven days to do whatever I want and get paid for it. This is great. And now I get the opportunity to plan out what I want to do. The easy option is to go home and visit some friends along the way, via driving cross-country. This would be a wonderful excursion routing from Dallas to Little Rock to Memphis to Nashville to Knoxville to Asheville to Raleigh just like my trip was when I first moved to Dallas, only the opposite way, for the slow ones. Then… I could, on my way back, go a different route and visit some more friends. Say, Lynchburg for a day, then on to Charlotte, and going down through Georgia, and hitting Mississippi to Louisiana then on to Dallas. A lot of driving, yes. But, well worth it to see wonderful friends.
So, I’m sort of writing this as an open topic for debate. Who all is in these parts these days whom I could make camp and enjoy good times along the way? Let me know sooner than later!
