Got the new Saxon Shore record today. Ex. Cite. Ment.
and…
Helios’ live “unreleased vol. 1” record. Again with the excitement.
Times like these make life worth living, cos you know, I can get down, things don’t go my way, sadness is around, then there’s happiness, then back to sadness. Then at some point, I hear music. And there’s goodness and feelings that swarm inside me and it causes all the dirt and rubble and silly stuff that gets in the way of living, very helpful. And lest we forget the times you are driving and you hit all these green lights and the wind is blowing and a song comes on, and the hairs on your arm stand up, and you are grinning, feeling so much comfort and joy. Then you do what should do, or feel led to do. You think on God. And all the things he’s done. And everything is wonderful again. Because all that sadness you just felt just diminished in that one second that the wind moved just right, the song was perfect, the sun felt good on your skin, and the traffic lights were green.
This is the power of music. In the every day occurrences and effects. Of being a living person that acknowledges God and feels Him when it seems you can’t feel.
