i’m staying in the hilton in atlanta right now. this is the first time i’m thankful for the hilton family. hmm. nice hot tub/pool, good wireless signal, good spacious room, good breakfast. the list goes on. but, i’ll say that it’s my favorite hotel currently. and that’s saying alot because i luds’ them hampton inn’s.
some favorites of mine as of late…
-bobby q’s. a wonderful bbq place in cookville, tn (roughly an hr from nashville). it was so good, i ate there two nights in a row. currently my vote for the best bbq i’ve had thus far on my travels.
-the killers’ new record, “sam’s town.” my favorite track right now is ‘uncle jonny’. check it out. comes out on tues.
-lost. i finally caved and rented season 1 and now i’m hooked. since i’ll have time on the road now i plan on catching up.
-soduku. yes, i know. call me an old lady. but it’s mind-engaging. something to do to kill time, you could say. what’s next - crossword puzzles? shuffle board? bingo?
